RESUME, AVIS

Le détective NICK CHARLES et sa femme enquêtent sur le meurtre de TOMMY DRAKE, un chef d'orchestre tué dans un bateau-casino alors que le couple était présent à son bord. Les suspects sont multiples car l'homme assassiné n'était aimé de personne, sauf de certaines femmes qu'il courtisait. PHIL BRANT et JANET THAYAR, organisateurs de spectacle fortement soupçonnés par la police, demandent la protection de NICK.
