RESUME, AVIS

SHEILAH GRAHAM, chroniqueuse mondaine, égratigne les stars féminines dans les journaux. Lors d'un dîner avec des célébrités, elle rencontre le fameux romancier F. SCOTT FITZGERALD, qui devient très vite son amant. Elle est libre mais lui n'a pas divorcé de sa femme devenue folle. Malgré le succès, les romans de F. SCOTT ne se vendent pas suffisamment pour couvrir tous les frais de leur auteur. Il se voit refuser le scénario d'un film et se réfugie corps et âme dans la boisson.
