RESUME, AVIS

Les 3 frères KEOUGH vivent avec leur mère dans un ranch. Le père est mort bien des années avant d'une morsure de serpent. WILL, l'aîné, s'occupe des affaires, le second, BLESS, est le favori de sa mère, et le cadet HADE est jeune et impulsif. La fiancée de WILL, AUD NIVEN, est secrètement amoureuse de BLESS, tandis que ce dernier se voit presque dans l'obligation de suivre sa mère pour vivre à Saint-Louis avec sa tante.
